Visit the Wishing Tree and See Santa on his Sleigh at Groombridge Place

For the perfect family day out in the Christmas holidays visit Groombridge Place near Tunbridge Wells from Wednesday 16 December to Thursday 24 December 2020 including:

The little secret garden with its gentle stream and wooden bridge will be magically transformed into a delightful Christmas scene where everyone can visit the wishing tree and children can add a wish to the tree.  There is a one-way system in place to ensure social distancing can be maintained.

Watch out for Santa who will be waving from his sleigh travelling around with his naughty elves!

There will be Punch and Judy Shows at Crusoe’s World from Saturday 19 December to Christmas Eve which can be watched in your own family group.

During this festive event families can take advantage of the attraction’s popular flexible family & friends’ ticket, which was introduced this year, and allows four people to visit for £25 with just one required to be under 12.  This makes it easy for friends and families to visit together and save money on admission.

This delightful attraction is set in beautiful countryside with plenty of outdoor space for children to run round and burn off excess energy including in the enchanted forest which is famous for its giant tree and nest swings.  Admission also includes Crusoe’s World with its wooden rope bridge, a giant wooden ship and a new slide for children to enjoy.   If you follow the path from Crusoe’s World to the top of the forest you will discover the giant tree swings and the raised Board Walk with its rope swings and small zip wire.

The amazing birds of prey displays will take place twice daily and offer a fantastic way to see some incredible birds of prey including Barn owls, Hawks and Eagles.

Visitors who take the picturesque walk along the canal and through the forest may also catch a glimpse of the resident herd of fallow deer.

A kiosk will be open at Crusoe’s World with a BBQ, sandwiches, snacks and a choice of hot and cold drinks.

There are specific time slots available each day and these can be booked in advance at

Admission to Groombridge Place: Any 4 friends or family (one under 12) £25, adults £8.95, children £6.95.  Pre-walking infants free.
